2020 Annual Meeting of the
Georgia Academy of Science

The annual meeting of the Georgia Academy of Science to be held 27-28 March 2020 at Valdosta State University has been cancelled because of the novel coronavirus. We do this with regret out of an abundance of caution. The health and safety of our membership and their home communities is of utmost importance.

We encourage institutions, in the event we return to campuses for instruction during the spring term 2020, to have students present their research to their local departments. Abstracts were refereed, and as such, will remain a published component of the records of the Academy and the Georgia Journal of Science.


If you become a member of the academy you will receive official meeting announcements and calls for papers automatically. If you are a member and you do not receive this information from the Chair of your section, contact the Academy President. Please check that emails are not in your Clutter or Spam folders.
