For directions, start by going to http://www.ngcsu.edu/discover/directions.shtml If it is a weekday, enter the main entrance to campus only to stop at the Public Safety hut for a parking pass. Continue on Rt. 60 to the town square and proceed ¾ of the way around it counter-clockwise, effectively turning left onto Main St . Soon after passing Price Memorial on the left (the building with the golden steeple) turn right onto Sunset Dr. The Health and Natural Sciences Building is at the top of the hill. Park behind it. If the Main St. entrance to Sunset Dr. is closed due to construction, continue on Main St. to the traffic light at Rt. 9. Turn right on Rt. 9 towards Dawsonville, then turn right again onto Sunset Dr. (This new entrance is not shown on the campus maps available on our website. It would be at the extreme left of those maps.) Once on Sunset Dr. turn right at the stop sign. The Health and Natural Science building is at the top of the hill on the right. Parking is adjacent to the building. The GSAMS room is 140.

From the north, take exit 16 off of I-75 and proceed east on US 84 to Oak Street ; Oak Street should be the first signal after 84 divides. Turn left (north) on Oak Street and continue to Brookwood Drive . Turn right on Brookwood and proceed to Patterson; the campus should be on your left. Turn left on Patterson, then left into the main entrance of the University and park in any spot not reserved 24 hours. West Hall is the large building with the fountain in front.
From the east or west, continue on US 84 to Oak Street . Turn north on Oak Street and continue to Brookwood Drive . Proceed as above.
From US 221, continue on 221 to Patterson Street . Turn left (south) and continue to VSU. West Hall is the large building with the fountain in front. Park anywhere not reserved 24 hours.

Take 316 north from I-85 to Collins Hill Rd. Turn left at the light, go one block and turn left again, then go one block and turn right. Gwinnett University Center can be easily seen from 316. Park in the student lot in front of the large glass front building, Building B. The meeting will be in room B-1900.

I-75 South from Atlanta
Take Exit 201 and turn right onto GA-36 West. Travel approximately 14 miles, and bear right at the fork in the road (continuing on GA-36 West). Turn left at the stop sign onto US-41/7. Continue four miles, and turn left at the BP Station onto College Drive . Visitor parking is on the right.
I-75 North from Macon
Take Exit 185 onto Harold G. Clark Pkwy (Hwy 18), Turn left off of ramp. Road dead ends in front of Monroe Academy , Turn right into (18/41). 18/41 takes you right into Barnesville where you left turn at the McDonalds on College Dr. Visitor parking is on the left. |
